Birmingham Elementary opened its Kindness Room in late January 2024.
Samantha Boyle spoke to the junior high students in the fall of 2023, setup occurred in December 2023 and January 2024, and teachers were trained on the equipment on January 26. The Kindness Room is located off the cafeteria so there’s plenty of room for students to be creative. The counselor, Nick Boyle, is the driving force in getting the Kindness Room, and other teachers have been trained to assist.
