Share Luken’s Story With Others
Luken T. Boyle was a kind, compassionate, and joyful 14-year-old who believed everyone deserved to feel included. He was the friend who noticed the person sitting alone and made sure they had someone beside them. He loved football, basketball, baseball, fishing, riding bikes with friends, spending time with family, and making people laugh. Those who knew Luken remember his gentle heart, his genuine smile, and the way he made others feel valued.
On July 31, 2017, Luken’s life ended tragically following an incident of cyberbullying. His family was devastated by the loss, but they made a decision that would honor the way Luken lived. Rather than allowing his story to be remembered only for tragedy, they chose to share his kindness with the world.
That decision led to the creation of the Luken T. Boyle Campaign for Kindness. The mission is simple but powerful: Spread Kindness. Save Lives.
Today, the organization works with students, schools, families, and communities to encourage intentional acts of kindness, promote empathy, address bullying and cyberbullying, and create safe spaces where every person feels seen, valued, and connected. Through Kindness Rooms, Kindness Rallies, school presentations, and community events, Luken’s legacy continues to inspire thousands of people to choose kindness every day.
When you tell Luken’s story, remember that it is not just a story about loss. It is a story about a young man whose kindness continues to change lives. Every time someone chooses compassion instead of cruelty, inclusion instead of isolation, or encouragement instead of silence, Luken’s legacy lives on.
Please help us continue that legacy. Tell Luken’s story. Choose kindness. Encourage others to do the same. Together, we can spread kindness—and save lives.
