Executive Director Report – November 2025

Hello Kindness Advocates!

First, I was recently contacted about participating in a documentary focused on youth mental health and social interaction. After a pre-interview, I was selected to appear on camera and contribute to the documentary itself. I’m incredibly honored to be chosen and grateful for the chance to represent our mission on a larger platform. I’ll share more details as they are confirmed, but this opportunity has the potential to shine an even brighter light on the importance of kindness in the lives of young people.

This week, I’m set to speak at Martin Luther King Jr. Academy, followed by a trip to Holy Angels in Sidney on Thursday. I’ll also be working alongside Teresa at Grove Patterson, helping her train and continue our efforts to build kindness-centered environments. Our school outreach continues to grow, and each visit strengthens the message we’re committed to sharing.

My scheduled presentation at All Saints in Rossford has been postponed, but I’ll update everyone as soon as a new date is confirmed. In addition, I’ve heard from Incarnation Catholic School in Dayton, and we are now planning a visit for February of next year—a wonderful sign of the expanding impact our work is having across different communities.

To say thank you for years of supporting our kindness efforts, we are dedicating this years Ornament for Kindness campaign to support Pennie, the store manager at Little Green Apple Hallmark store. Her sister passed earlier this year, so all proceeds from purchases during Thanksgiving and Black Friday weekend will go to honor her sister. She is sincerely grateful, and it’s heartwarming to see small acts of collaboration ripple outward in such positive ways to Spread Kindness To Save Lives. I’m still working to reconnect with Otsego and Navarre Elementary, both of which previously expressed interest in speaking engagements and potentially establishing Kindness Rooms. I’ve followed up several times and am hopeful that we’ll hear back soon so we can keep building kindness spaces where they’re needed most.

Thank you all for your continued encouragement and belief in our mission. Every step forward, every school visit, every conversation, and every story we hear reminds us why we work so hard to spread kindness to save lives.

With gratitude,

Sam Boyle
