As we move through this quarter, I’m excited to share the progress and impact we continue to make through The Luken T. Boyle Campaign for Kindness. Our mission to spread kindness and create positive change remains at the heart of everything we do.
School Outreach & Speaking Engagements
This quarter, I had the privilege of speaking at Sidney High School and Larchmont Elementary, sharing our message of kindness and inclusion with students. Visits to Monroe and Grove Patterson had to be rescheduled due to school closures, but we’re working on getting those back on the calendar soon. I’m also looking forward to returning to Larchmont and visiting Longfellow twice in the coming weeks.
Partnership with BEES AAU Basketball
We’re excited about a potential partnership with BEES, an AAU basketball organization. Their annual All-Star Tournament on March 17 may benefit the Campaign for Kindness, with a portion of the door proceeds supporting our work. I’m in the process of connecting with their director and will share updates as this unfolds.
Grove Patterson Kindness Room Update
Progress on the Grove Patterson Kindness Room has been delayed due to Toledo Public Schools closures, but we’re hopeful it will be finalized in the next week or two. Once complete, this space will offer students a much-needed outlet for connection, creativity, and reflection.
Continued Growth & Networking
In addition to school visits, my mom and I have made several trips to Sidney to help launch kindness initiatives in two schools. I’m continuing to build relationships and connect with people who believe in our mission, ensuring our message of kindness reaches even more communities.
